Michael Winslow is an American actor, comedian, and voice artist known as the "Man of 10,000 Sound Effects" for his incredible ability to mimic sounds using only his voice. Born on September 6, 1958, Winslow rose to fame as Sergeant Larvelle Jones in the Police Academy film series, where his sound effects became a defining feature of the franchise. He also had a memorable role in Mel Brooks' Spaceballs (1987) as the Radar Technician, hilariously replicating the sounds of a malfunctioning radar system.
